Kate Ryan, born Katrien Verbeeck on July 22, 1980, in Belgium, is a celebrated Belgian singer and songwriter. She launched her music career in 2002 with the release of Scream for More, a hit in Belgium that also charted in Austria, Denmark, and the Netherlands. The success of her debut laid the foundation for a career filled with international hits and best-selling albums such as Different, Stronger, Free, and French Connection.
Her music, a perfect blend of catchy pop melodies and infectious dance beats, gained her a loyal following across Europe. Tracks like Désenchantée, Libertine, Voyage Voyage, Ella Elle L’a, and Je T’adore became staples in the Eurodance scene.
